Terms of Service — Docsy Scanner

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Docsy Scanner on Android devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use.

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you scan, import, or create in Docsy Scanner. Docsy Scanner stores those documents on your device and, only if you enable it, in your own Google Drive. We do not claim any ownership of your content and do not access it except as strictly required to run the features you invoke (for example, sending a specific page to Google Cloud Vision when you tap “Re-run with Cloud OCR”).

3. Docsy Scanner Pro subscription

Docsy Scanner Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks multi-device sync, unlimited cloud OCR, and bulk cloud OCR. Pro is billed through Google Play. Details:

• Plans and prices are shown inside the App before purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel at any time in Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the end of the current period.
• Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play according to Google’s refund policy. Contact privacy@hirenpaghadal.in if a purchase is disputed.

4. Google account authorization

Docsy Scanner’s sync and cloud-backup features require you to sign in with a Google account and grant the drive.appdatascope. This scope is limited to a private application-data folder that only Docsy Scanner can read. You can revoke Docsy Scanner’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Docsy Scanner for any unlawful purpose or to infringe another party’s rights.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the App’s source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App.
• Resell, sublicense, or lease the App or your Docsy Scanner Pro subscription.

6. Warranty disclaimer

Docsy Scanner is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that OCR results, filter effects, or search matches will be accurate or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of Docsy Scanner will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your important documents.

8. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling Docsy Scanner. We may suspend or terminate your access to Docsy Scanner Pro if you materially breach these terms, subject to the Google Play refund policy for any prepaid period.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or at this URL. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India, unless applicable consumer-protection law of your place of residence provides otherwise.
