Delete Your Cartoon Video Data

Option 1 — Delete in-app (most common)

Use this when you want to remove every profile, the parent PIN, watch history, favourites, blocklists, and the premium-active flag in one tap, but keep the App installed.

1. Open Cartoon Video.
2. Tap the family icon in the top-right of the Home screen to open Parent Zone.
3. Enter your 4-digit parent PIN.
4. Go to Privacy → Delete Account.
5. Confirm. The wipe happens on-device immediately.

After confirmation the App returns to its first-run state — you will be asked to set up a new parent PIN and child profile if you continue using it.

Option 2 — Full wipe via Android Settings

Use this if you have lost the parent PIN or want a hard reset that bypasses the in-app dialog.

1. Open Android Settings.
2. Go to Apps (or Apps & notifications on some devices).
3. Find and tap Cartoon Video.
4. Open Storage & cache and tap Clear storage (also labelled Clear data on some devices).

This deletes every preference, every cached image, the parent PIN hash, the watch history, and the entitlement flag. The next launch starts fresh.

Option 3 — Uninstall

Use this when you are leaving the App entirely.

1. Long-press the Cartoon Video icon on your home screen or app drawer.
2. Tap Uninstall (on some devices: Remove → Uninstall).
3. Confirm.

Uninstalling removes the App and every byte of on-device data it stored. Android may also offer to delete any cloud backup taken via Google’s auto-backup; opt in if you want to clear that too.

Off-device data

A small amount of data is processed off your device by Google-operated Firebase services — see the Privacy Policy for the full list. Options 1, 2, and 3 above do not automatically purge those records, because they live on Google’s servers rather than your phone. To request their deletion:

1. Email privacy@hirenpaghadal.in with the subject “Cartoon Video — Data deletion request”.
2. Include the Google app-instance ID if you can find it (Android Settings → Apps → Cartoon Video → tap App info → some devices expose it under App details). If not, just tell us the approximate date you uninstalled and we will identify it from the diagnostics we have.
3. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete the deletion (including Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging token, and Remote Config personalisation) within 30 days.

If you purchased a premium subscription, the purchase record itself is held by Google Play and is governed by Google’s privacy policy. We do not have the ability to delete that record on your behalf; you can manage it directly from Play Store → Subscriptions.

What gets retained?

We may retain the following limited categories of information even after deletion, where doing so is necessary or permitted by law:

• Aggregated, anonymised analyticsthat cannot reasonably be tied back to your device or your child — for example, total monthly active devices or per-screen crash rates.
• Operational logsrequired for security and abuse-prevention, kept for the minimum period required by our hosting provider’s policies.
• Financial records of any subscription purchase, retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law. These records contain the purchase token and amount, not any child-related data.

We do not retain any child profile data, watch history, favourites, blocklists, or PIN hashes after a deletion request has been completed.
